Founded in 2017, the New Orleans Career Center (NOCC) is an independent nonprofit focused on career preparation and technical training for five industry sectors: Healthcare, Building Trades, Engineering and Manufacturing, Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management, and Digital Production.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welding Instructor to join our team and lead our welding training programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and expertise in various welding techniques, safety procedures, and industry standards.
As a welding instructor, you will be responsible for preparing trainees for successful welding careers. You will ensure they develop proficiency in welding processes and techniques using both practical skills and theoretical knowledge. Compensation and Benefits
Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. NOCC also offers a competitive benefits package that includes 80% employer-paid health insurance, long- and short-term disability insurance, 401K, 10 days of paid time off over NOCC org-wide breaks, and professional development resources and opportunities.
Salary Range $60,000 - $80,000
Application and Hiring Timeline

Following a successful application, the hiring process is scheduled to wrap by mid-May for a June 4 start date. The process will include an initial screening interview, performance task, in-person interview/visit, and follow-up conversations with NOCC staff, as necessary.
